I'MĀ KAYLA
Certified both in Arkansas and Oklahoma, Kayla is a KEVIN.MURPHY gold Key Style educator, session salon stylist and owner of Shear Balance Salon (OKC) & (Little Rock), creating and designing hair & makeup for the past 17 years.
Staying current and trendy, Kayla is skilled in hair of all types including women, men, children's cuts, color, perms, smoothing treatments and three types of extensions. Other services she offers include: traditional and airbrush make-up application, body paint, organic spray tanning, waxing, and other specialized services for special occasions, such as proms, banquets, and weddings.
Ā But in reality, I am so much more than that. And so are you.
Society may put us in boxes, but that doesn't mean we have to stay there. So let's break free from who we think we should be and start living the fulfilling life we deserve.

MY STORY
I grew up watching my mom and grandmothers doing their hair and makeup for hours, cutting all my Barbie's hair off and then eventually my own, and getting all my friends ready for prom. I even did the entire cheerleading teams hair for nationals one year.
After attending college for my first passion in dance performance, I went straight to hair school because I wanted to "be my own boss". I learned that once you step into who you really are, there's no going back.
Almost 20 years later, I can truly say I am where I am meant to be and I am LOVING my life.
